THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY...IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO CRITICISM OF OBAMA, USA, ISRAEL AND OTHER NATIONS YOU PROBABLY DO NOT WANT TO READ...End The Illegal Occupation of Jerusalem, Aaron Kleinhttp://pajamasmedia.com/phyllischesler/2009/06/16/end-the-illegal-occupation-of-jerusalem/2/

End The Illegal Occupation of Jerusalem
Aaron Klein Exposes the Truth About Illegal Settlement Activity
I recently met my friend, Helen Freedman, at the U Café. This café on the upper east side is my local watering hole, an oasis, a village well, where I meet people for coffee. Sometimes, when it’s quiet, I just sit there and read, as if I lived in Paris, Rome, Warsaw, Vienna, Tel Aviv, or on the lower east side of NYC–but long ago, when a writer had a favorite cafe where he (or she) read their newspapers, pen articles and books, meet other writers to argue, plan revolutions, initiate love affairs, and to dream.
Freedman had just returned from one of her frequent trips to Israel. This time, what amazed her most were “all the illegal Arab settlements” which had grown exponentially “all over Jerusalem.”
Illegal Arab settlements?
This information is well documented in journalist Aaron Klein’s important new book: The Late, Great State of Israel. How Enemies Within and Without Threaten The Jewish Nation’s Survival. Klein’s book illuminates, infuriates, saddens, and cries out to both heaven and humanity.
According to Klein, he chose his book’s shocking title “with a heavy heart,” in order to “awaken people to this very real possibility,” to “prod the world into pondering the unthinkable; and to shed light on the scope of the calamitous threats facing the Jewish state.”
Klein is not a diplomatic insider, nor is he a scholar; he is a passionate and courageous young journalist who, unlike most of us, including most scholars, talks to Palestinian terrorists all the time.
Klein indicts the world’s governments and the global media, including the Israeli government and media, for having conspired in covering up the fact that the late Yasir Arafat’s was a bloodthirsty terrorist; for continuing to present Fatah, under Mahmud Abbas, Arafat’s right hand man, as a “moderate,” when this is not the case; for being so “entrenched in their accepted narratives that they will completely invert the truth or blindly repeat proven falsehoods…(all in order to mask) the murderous ways of their Palestinian or Arab state partners.”
I only wish that those who helped President Obama craft his Cairo speech had read Klein’s book before they led (or followed) our commander-in-chief down the proverbial garden path. Actually, I wish that American Jews, 72% of whom voted for Obama, understood how very far from fair or balanced or even historically accurate his Cairo speech really was.
It wasn’t a pro-Muslim woman speech either as I’ve previously written.
Klein condemns the media for not covering certain stories: “How the U.S. knowingly funds Palestinian terrorism; how Israel and the international community legitimize the jihadist Hamas movement; how the Jewish state has already essentially forfeited the holy Temple Mount…and allowed hundreds of thousands of Arabs to live illegally on Jewish-owned land.”
According to Klein, who has been WorldNetDaily’s Jerusalem bureau chief for four years: The city of Jerusalem, like so many European cities, now has its own “no go” areas. “Israeli police units stay off the streets” of certain “densely populated Arab neighborhoods” which, in effect, constitute a “significant terrorist apparatus (which is) now based in eastern Jerusalem. The clear aim is to keep up a steady stream of attacks on western Jerusalem neighborhoods in order to pressure Israel into ceding eastern Jerusalem.”
Over the years, Israelis have allowed more than “100,000 Palestinian Arabs to occupy tens of thousands of illegally constructed housing units in eastern and northern Jerusalem.” Criminals, mercenaries, soldiers dressed as civilians, human bombs and their terrorist handlers, may all live among them. This other illegal occupation or settlement activity began long after 1967, when Israel won a third war of self-defense launched against it by the major Arab powers. These Palestinian Arab immigrants were not living in these places before 1948 or before 1967. Indeed, Klein documents that under Jordanian rule, one of these Jerusalem neighborhoods, Shoafat, was actually a forest.
These crowded Palestinian Arab housing complexes, schools, villas, palaces, (my friend Helen Freedman just saw a Saudi-built Polo Club! somewhere nearby), are now filled with weapons and fighters. Worse still: According to Klein, these Palestinian Arabs have built their illegal settlements on land owned by the Jewish National Fund, (JNF), which was entrusted to buy land for Jews in the Holy Land.
I, like so many other Jews, once stood on the street corners of Borough Park and solicited for the JNF holding my little blue and white tin canister.
No one has ever exposed or opposed these illegal settlements on JNF land. Not the Israeli government, not the Israeli media, not the world media, not any of the world’s activists who demonize only Jewish settlements.
In an exchange with Klein, (which Klein duly reports), Russell Robinson, the CEO of the JNF, insisted that, yes, the land in question had been acquired by the JNF in the early 1900s but it was subsequently either under Jordanian rule and/or is now under the Israel Land Authority and that the entire matter is “more complicated.” Klein persuasively disputes both of Robinson’s claims.
According to Helen Freedman, there has been no outcry about any of this because “Jews and Israelis do not want to be seen—many do not even want to be, discriminatory or “racist” in terms of Palestinian Arabs.
Well, many good Jews believe in the importance of treating the stranger in our gate with kindness, fairness. In the past, I, too, wanted full citizenship as well as existential and “identity” rights for Israeli Palestinian Arabs; however, even if they were and still are second class citizens, a fact which was and is entirely unacceptable, nevertheless they do not wish to leave Israel to live with their brethren in Gaza or on the West Bank. Their lives are better in Israel than they would be in any Arab Muslim country. Like Jews, (but for a very different reason), Palestinian Arabs have also not been welcomed as citizens in any of the 22 Arab Muslim states.
I signed petitions and demonstrated against “the occupation” and for a “two state solution” for years—well before it became fashionable. And yet, it turns out that I was both a dreamer and a fool, tricked by master propagandists and by my own desire to do good, alleviate human suffering. To paraphrase the Israeli left writer, my friend and colleague, Yoram Kiniuk: “My peace partner, with whom I was dancing, turned out to be a suicide bomber.”
Thus, to expect, nay, to demand, that Israel “make peace” with a people who are armed to the teeth, who will not disarm on their own, who will not disarm non-violently, even under international supervision, is nonsense. For Jews and Israelis to call for a further Palestinian right of return and for a two-state solution is, perhaps, suicidal, given that there is only one tiny Jewish state in all the wide, wide world while there are 57 Muslim (and Muslim-dominating) states in the world, 22 of which are in the Middle East. No Jews, including “politically correct” two-state solution Jews, can safely live in any one of the 22 Muslim Arab states in the Middle East.
Until recently, Jews, if they were very wealthy, could live well, perhaps only in Tunisia and Turkey, but that happy little chapter may be drawing to a close. And, although the 35,000 Jews held hostage in Iran publicly insist that they are quite happy there, let’s remember that Jewish-American diplomat, Dennis Ross, is not acceptable as an American envoy to Iran presumably because he is Jewish. The Obama White House has re-assigned him.
Muslim countries are totally “apartheid” nations states.
Israel, on the other hand, has accepted 1.2 million Muslim and Christian Palestinian Arabs as Israeli citizens. Palestinian Arabs are Members of Knesset and sit on the Israeli Supreme Court. Israel has safeguarded the places of worship of all religions and have given the Ba’haii, who fled Iran, a safe harbour in Haifa. In contrast, Palestinian Arabs have desecrated and destroyed Jewish and Christian places of worship. Klein has a horrific chapter on the barbaric Palestinian destruction of Joseph-the-Dream-Interpreter’s Tomb.
All things being equal, I, (and most Israelis), would have no problem with Israel’s having Muslim or Christian Palestinian Arab residents in Jerusalem or anywhere else–just as long as Jews could also live safely and openly in Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron, Amman, Cairo, Damascus, Mecca, Baghdad, Teheran, etc. That is: Without armored troops to accompany them to and from peaceful prayer services or to the market to buy fruits and vegetables. It is precisely this lack of reciprocity which causes the blood to boil, especially when our leaders, (President Obama, for starters), fail to mention and refuse to criticize such a glaring and obvious disparity.
Does this mean that President Obama is in favor of Islamic religious apartheid but opposes, selectively, what he views as Israeli Jewish “apartheid?” If so, why? Does Obama oppose the right of a Jewish state to exist? If not, then why would he support the The Arab League, Iran, and its terrorist proxies, Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as the bloody Palestinian Authority under Abbas, who all wish to surround, isolate, and destroy Israel demographically, economically, reputationally, and militarily by a non-stop barrage of rockets, missiles, human bombs, truck bombs, tractors, bullets, and nuclear weapons if possible?
How can President Obama, a graduate of the Harvard Law School, not understand that the catch-phrase “two state solution with the Palestinian right of return,” by definition, means the death of the Jewish state?
I strongly recommend the Klein book. If you are young, read it quickly, absorb it right into your bloodstream. If you are a leftist, reach for your smelling salts. And, if you are older, and more conservative, reach for your blood pressure medication. |

Jeremiah 20:7-18 (KJV) O Lord, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me. For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily. Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. But, O Lord of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause. Sing unto the Lord, praise ye the Lord: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers. Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed. Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad. And let that man be as the cities which the Lord overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide; Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me. Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
Comments:
The Prophet Jeremiah cried out in despair mixed with praise, unburdening his heart to God. Jeremiah faithfully proclaimed God’s word and had received nothing in return but persecution and sorrow from the people who heard. The word derision, means Hebrew 7814, Strong’s sechowq, sekh-oke'; or sechoq, sekh-oke'; from Hebrew 7832 (sachaq); laughter (in merriment or defiance) :- derision, laughter (-ed to scorn, -ing), mocked, sported.
Jeremiah even said, “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name.” Have you ever felt this way when witnessing or in giving the message to a backsliding people? Have you ever set in the midst of the congregation and heard the Word of God distorted to the people with fire burning in Your loins at the apostate and vowing not to open your mouth because of the dread and weariness of persecution? Like Jeremiah, we too will be persecuted and in derision when we stand upon the Word of God.
However, when Jeremiah withheld God’s word for a while, it became fire in his bones until he could hold it back no longer. When God’s living message of repentance and forgiveness becomes fire in your bones, you also will feel compelled to share it with others, regardless of the results. When our focus becomes on God first and heavenly thing such as Philip. 4:8 (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Remember Jephthah, was an illegitimate son of Gilead, he was chased out of the country by his half brothers. He suffered as a result of other’s decision and not for any wrong he had done. Yet in spite of his brothers’ rejection, God used him. If you are suffering from unfair rejection, do not blame others and become discouraged. Remember how God used Jephthah despite his unjust circumstances, and realize that he is able to use you even if you feel rejected by some.
Just as Jeremiah ran to the arms of our Father God during his time of sorrow and persecution we must stand strong in His presence, upon our knees. Now let us look at the greatest example we have Christ Jesus. The self righteous, religious leaders conspired to put Jesus to death from early on in His earthly minister because of envy and jealousy. These religious leaders had to persuade the Roman government to sentence Jesus to death because they did not have the authority to do it themselves. Their scheme took place late at night in the dark, not following their own laws.
The Roman Government had taken away the religious leaders authority to inflict capital punishment. Politically correct the religious leaders used the government for a scapegoat if you will, it looked better for the religious leaders anyway if someone else was responsible for killing Jesus. They wanted the death sentence to appear Roman-sponsored so the crowds could not blame them. The Jewish leaders had arrested Jesus on theological grounds; blasphemy; but because this charge would be thrown out of the Roman court, they had to come up with a political reason for Jesus to be put to death. Their approach was to show Jesus as a rebel who claimed to be a king and thus a threat to Caesar.
Matthew 26:36-46 (KJV) Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.
In the last hours alone in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed to His Father and like Jeremiah before Him, He poured His heart out. Jesus was in great anguish over his approaching physical pain, to the point like blood His sweat poured at the thought of separation from God the Father, and death for the sins of the world. It was there in the Garden Jesus through Prayer found strength to face His darkest hour. The divine course was set, but Jesus, in His human nature, still struggled (Hebrews 5:7-9). Because of the anguish Jesus experienced, He can relate to our suffering. Jesus strength to obey came from his relationship with God the Father, who is also the source of our strength (John 17:11, 15-16, 21, 26).
Through prayer, Jesus and Jeremiah found the strength to proceed even when the hour at hand was dark, weary and full of pain ahead. Yet, Jesus and Jeremiah had relationship with Father God and His will and His way was alwas obeyed. In today’s world if you are walking in God’s truth, you to will have the dark moments of the soul, but Your help comes from God not from man. If, Father God is not the central point of focus in these times we will surely miss the mark. We will fall into the political correct religious world and follow the easy path to miss the pain. There is no greater hour to stand than in the time of great temptation for our allegiance is shown by which side we choose to follow.
The only way we will truly be able to stand in truth is upon our knees, for the secular world have already denied and rejected the truth, the way and the light. We must always remember that though we be in this world, we are not of this world, many are called but5 few are chosen. The path will be difficult and Jesus is the greatest example we have to follow and He never missed the mark. You too can finish the race, just like Jesus if you follow His example even when the majority cry out “this not the way.” But too do so, relationship with God the Father through which Jesus has made the way possible, dying to the flesh daily that Jesus may increase and we may decrease. God bless you as you seek Him first and follow Jesus all the way not fearing the consequence but total obedience to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob filled with His grace and Spirit.
Abba Father God, May our allegiance be to You and the truth You have revealed through the washing of the word and Your Spirit. May we stand tall upon our knees in the days to come and set our minds not to defile our God as Danile did many ancient days before us and may we seek You daily and know You are our source; if You bring us too it, then You will lead and bring us through it. May Your will be done in the earth, Your people and may we bring You all the glory. In Jesus I humbly ask. Amen

Characteristics of the Antichrist
Let's begin our study by looking at Some Bible Names for Antichrist: By taking a look at the different names for the antichrist in the Bible, we can gain a better understanding of the kind of person he will be.
Antichrist Man of Sin The Beast Man of Sin Son of Perdition Man of Lawlessness
Antichrist The name "antichrist" is found only in 1 John 2:18, 2:22, 4:3, and 2 John 7. The apostle John was the only Bible author to use the name antichrist. In studying these verses, we learn that many antichrists (false teachers) will appear between the time of Christ's first and second-coming, but there will be only one great antichrist who will rise to power during the end times, or "last hours," or days as 1 John phrases it. He will deny that Jesus is the Christ. He will deny both God the Father and God the Son. He will be a liar and a deceiver. He will deceive many.
1 John 4:1-4 (KJV) says, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: [3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. [4] Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Man of Sin In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, the antichrist is described as the "man of sin," or "son of perdition." Here Paul, like John, is also warning believers about the antichrist's ability to deceive:
2 Thes. 2:3-4 (KJV) “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
2 Thes. 2:3-4 (NKJV) "Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."
The NIV makes it clearer that a time of rebellion will come prior to Christ's return and then the "man of lawlessness, the man doomed to destruction" will be revealed. The antichrist eventually will exalt himself above God to be worshiped in the Lord's Temple, proclaiming himself to be God. Verses 9 and 10 say that the antichrist will do counterfeit (lying) miracles, signs and wonders, to gain a following and deceive many.
The Beast In Revelation 13:5-8, the antichrist is referred to as "the beast."
Son of Perdition 2 Thes. 2:3 (KJV) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
A falling away from truth and therefore deception is easier.
We need to Know how to recognize the beast and not be swayed into believing that someone is the Antichrist who doesn't match the biblical characteristics and to be able to discern the times. If we do not know the enemy, then we will probably be deceived by the enemy.
He comes from among ten kings in the restored Roman Empire; his authority will have similarities to the ancient Babylonians, Persians, and Greeks [Daniel 7:24; Rev 13:2 / Daniel 7:7]

Daniel 7:7 (KJV) After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
He will subdue three kings [Daniel 7:8, 24] Daniel 7:24 (KJV) And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

He will rise from obscurity (vagueness, uncertainity)…a “little horn” [Daniel 7:8]
Daniel 7:8 (KJV) I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
He will speak boastfully [Daniel 7:8; Rev 13:5] Daniel 7:8 (KJV) I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Daniel 7:26-27 (KJV) But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. [27] And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
He will confirm a covenant with “many”, i.e. the Jewish people [Daniel 9:27] This covenant will likely involve the establishment of a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem [see Dan 9:27; Matt 24:15]
Daniel 9:27 (KJV) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Matthew 24:15 (KJV) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Daniel 11:37 (KJV) Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
He will claim to be greater than any god [Daniel 11:37; 2 Thess 2:4] Daniel 11:37 (KJV) Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

He will only honor a “god” of the military. His whole focus and attention will be on his military. He will conquer lands and distribute them [Daniel 11:39-44]
Daniel 11:39-44 (KJV) Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. [40] And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. [41] He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. [42] He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. [43] But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. [44] But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
His arrival on the world scene will be accompanied by (lying) miracles, signs and wonders [2 Thess 2:9]
2 Thes. 2:9 (KJV) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Either he, or his companion [The False Prophet], will claim to be Christ [Matt 24:21-28] Matthew 24:21-28 (KJV) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. [23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. [24] For there shall arise false christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [25] Behold, I have told you before. [26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. [27] For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [28] For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
He will claim that Jesus did not come in the flesh, or that Jesus did not rise bodily from the grave [2 John 7]. He will deny that Jesus is the Messiah [I John 2:22]
2 John 1:7 (KJV) For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
1 John 2:22 (KJV) Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
He will be worshipped by many people [Rev. 13:8]Rev. 13:8 (KJV) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
He will hate a nation that initially will have some control over his kingdom, but he will destroy this nation [Rev 17:16-18] Rev. 17:16-18 (KJV) And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. [17] For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. [18] And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
He will appear to survive a fatal injury [Rev. 13:3; 17:8]
Rev. 13:3 (KJV) And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Rev. 17:8 (KJV) The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
His name will be related to the number six hundred and sixty six—but not necessarily in an obvious fashion [Rev 13:17-18].
Rev. 13:17-18 (KJV) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
He will be empowered by the devil himself [Rev. 13:2]
Rev. 13:2 (KJV) And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
I hope this study has helped all to know more about the antichrist and what he will do and how he will act. I pray we all will study to show ourselves approved and rightly dividing the word of truth as well as applying or doing what Father God deems our reasonable service to Him. Most Churches have not taught the end times or the Book of Revelation, and it surprised me to hear most pastors say it was to difficult and controversial so they would not touch it. The funny thing is Rev. 1:1-3 (KJV) we read, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: [2] Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. [3] Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
The NLT says it this way, Rev. 1:1-3 (NLT) “This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him concerning the events that will happen soon. An angel was sent to God's servant John so that John could share the revelation with God's other servants. [2] John faithfully reported the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ—everything he saw. [3] God blesses the one who reads this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to it and obey what it says. For the time is near when these things will happen. The book of Revelation unveils or reveals, Christ Jesus full identity and God’s plan for the end of the world, and it focuses on Jesus Christ, His second coming, His victory over evil, and the establishment of His kingdom. As you read and study Revelation, do not focus so much on the timetable of the events or the details of John’s imagery that you miss the essential message the infinite love, power, mercy and justice of the Lord Jesus Christ. We do not need to fear the end times, because Jesus made sure we would know what will happen, but ultimately the choice is ours whether to be informed or uninformed. All through end time prophecy in the Bible. God’s instruction book to us, we can see even in the Book of Revelation, God’s love for fallen man and the hardness of the hearts to reject Him even when He reveals Himself. Beloved, I pray we be informed and look to the Truth, God’s truth is forever and will stand the test of time. He is not going away no matter how many times we reject Him and His truth. He said it and it is forever settled and it will happen just as He has said. Be Blessed and have a Holy-Day in King Jesus.
Father God, Sanctify each of us through Your truth: Your word is truth (John 17:17). As followers of Christ Jesus we set our will, minds and bodies to become sanctified (set apart for sacred use, cleansed and made holy) through believing and obeying the Word of God (Hebrews 4:12). Abba Father with daily application of Your Word may we be purified and may the effect of Your truth on our minds and hearts change us and make us more like You. Abba through the Scriptures point out our sins, motivates us to confess, renews our relationship with You Christ Jesus and guides us back to the right path. In Jesus name, we humbly pray. Amen
