Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is truth. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is truth.
John 17:17 (KJV)
Mark 13:23 (KJV) But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
Jesus was speaking to His disciples and He still is speaking to us His disciples in this chapter if we have been born again of Spirit. The Preacher of preachers was telling the disciples of what was to come in the latter days. We also find His words in Matt 24 and Luke 21. So foten I have heard but Jesus did not mean... He meant... and once I did the same thing.
But when my heart truly sought Him, I found my spirit crying out I want to know You not what others say about You. It was when my heart truly humbled and I sought Him, I found I truly did not know Him as He says He is. I had a partial truth but not His truth. When I sought to know Him with my whole heart a hunger filled my heart, mind and soul for Him. When I sought Him with my whole heart I found Him.
It was then that I came to know Him in Spirit and truth. Then I came to Him not seeking for my own motives and desires but a hunger to intimately know Him. I am ashamed that I spent so long reading but not understanding the fulness of His revelation. After all did He not say, " But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26 (KJV). Again we see this reiterated in 1 John 2:27 (KJV)
"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."
Reflecting on the verse, Mark 13:23 (KJV) But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. I thought of the may times, I have heard but we can not know the will of God or His ways. But, here we are told by King Jesus just the opposite. I begin to think upon our reasons or excuses for not Knowing His Truth and I will list a few I thought of:
(1) by looking for an easy way and short cuts to the perfect plan of God, simply because we are lazy.
(2) We are all too content to spend an hour once, twice a week to listen to a short sermon at our local churches. Worship has become about us, not the Creator of Heaven and Earth. We go in with rituals to sing a few songs, kneel sometimes to pray, clap and shout and then we throw a few dollars of conscience money into the offering plate and we have done our worship for the week.
(3) We have what the Bible calls itchy hears, we want the message to heap upon our own selves our desires and lust, even when it opposes the word of God. So we reject His truth just like the rich young man who had many fine possessions and when told to be perfect to sale all and come fellow Jesus.
(4) We have been lied to since childhood Sunday School days about our responsibility for working out our own
salvation. We became dependent upon mankind instead of the Creator of all creation. The following scripture warned us of these days to come and we see this fulfilled more with each passing day.
2 Tim. 4:1-5 (KJV)
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. [3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Beloved we must be God dependent not minister dependent for if that man is wrong through ignorance of his own or is a wolf in sheep clothing and we do not know the truth between the false and truth we will be deceived. Mankind brings deception upon themselves by not knowing God's truth. Our answers are in the Word of God, but that means we will have to buckle down, dig deep and seek His truth. Our studies must deeper than surface knowledge. We need pure, undefiled truth but many become offended by the Word of God, just like Jesus said we would and never rise up to the challenge to seek the treasures, the golden nuggets and the pearls.
If you are one who is seeking Him, in His truth and Spirit we have the promise that we will be filled. Father God can not lie. He speaks truth, it may not be what our fleshly beings want to hear, but greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. When we were baptized the old man or woman died. We have become a new creation in Jesus. Just as Jesus came into this world, lived in a human body with the same temptations as we have, but sinned not, we can now live with out willing living in habitual sin! Because HE LIVES IN US!
Romans 8:11 (KJV)
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Matthew 11:6 (KJV)
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Today the church world echoes, God promotes, He does not demote. God blesses us He does not allow us hardships, but if we look here in Matt 11:6 and we see John in prison. If John’s purpose was to prepare people for the coming Messiah (Matthew 3:3), and if Jesus really was that Messiah, then why was John in prison? When he could have been preaching to the crowds, preparing their hearts?
We can all learn from our Brother John the Baptist, He may have had doubts as some preached or perhaps He was pointing his followers to the Truth, Jesus. John went to the source not to a priest or another man and that is what we must do, go to the true source and let Him show us His way. When you doubt, do not turn away from Christ; instead do like John, turn to Him.
How is God praised when we use our abilities? When we use them as He directs or instructs, to help or serve others, they will see Jesus in us and praise him for the help they have received. "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).
1 Peter 4:11 (KJV) If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
or some may perfer it read from this translation:
1 Peter 4:11 (NLT) Are you called to be a speaker? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then God will be given glory in everything through Jesus Christ. All glory and power belong to him forever and ever. Amen.
We can not do it God's way if we are to busy doing the work and not pursuing Godly instructions. We can not know the revealed will of God if we will not study His word and becomer doers of His word (James 1:22).
In our Lord Jesus, we have no reputation to protect. We have only our allegiance to Him first and then to others as our objectives. It has never been about us but it is about His life, death and resurrection. Jesus said this,Luke 6:26 (KJV) Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
Sadness lies ahead for those who chase after the crowd’s praise rather than God’s truth. Popularity is no guarantee of truth, and human flattery does not bring God’s approval. Great crowds or eloquence in speaking does not define a great man. The church appears much like the poltician's of our day, echoing with the same false promises an untruths, yet just like the politicians they are unrepentive and hearts refuse to hear the cry of the heart of God, as the politicians refuse to hear the cries of the people across the heartland.
Pride can seduce our emotions, cloud our reason and turn our hearts hard to the core. It can also make those who are immature and susceptible to the influence of unscrupulous people be led a stray. Pride and conceit were Satan's downfall, and he uses pride to trap others.
That is why we must know the truth. God only has one truth and if we look among us, we can see that each denomination decrees to have the one true way. There is but one way, one truth and one light and His name is Jesus. He was with God, He was the word of God, and He was God (John 1). The truth will make us free. We have the way out beloved, but it will require something of us. It will cost us, but Jesus told us to count the cost before we pick up the cross and follow Him.
I believe if we all really prove His truth to ourselves we would be in one accord, but because we like the Pharisee's hold to the traditions of men, we miss freedom, not mere freedom as the world shouts, but True Freedom. His freedom. If we could lay down our Sunday School lessons and just study to see His truth, we could truly become the true disciples of Christ Jesus and we would be in harmony with the brethren not the world.
Let me give you an example what I mean about Sunday School lessons:
We were told that Eve and Adam fell from grace beacuse they hate an apple from the forbidden tree but the scriptures do not say what kind of fruit it was, it could have been an orange as far as we know. But that lie was embedded into our minds as truth, the apple.
Today, I beg of each of you, return to the word of God, don't just read but think about what He is saying in that chapter. Reflect and pray about the things you don't understand and let His Holy Spirit teach Your spirit and mind. The hardest thing about believing what He says is because we will not yield our hearts and minds to Him.
Our King promised to return to the earth and He will, but this time He is coming as a Judge, a lion is a good representation of His return because He is the Lion of Judah. The Lion of Praise as Judah means. Rev. 12:11 (KJV) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev. 22:14 (KJV) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were barred from any access to the tree of life because of their sin (Genesis 3:22-24). In the new earth, God’s people will eat from the tree of life because their sins have been removed by Christ’s death and resurrection. Those who eat the fruit of this tree will live forever. If Jesus has forgiven your sins, you will have the right to eat from this tree.
Rev. 14:12 (KJV) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
This GOOD news about God’s ultimate triumph should encourage God’s chosen people to remain faithful through every trial and persecution. We can do this, God promises, by trusting in Christ Jesus and obeying the commands found in His Word. The secret to enduring, therefore, is trust and obedience. Trust God to give you patience to endure even the small trials you face daily; obey Him even when obedience is unattractive or dangerous. But know His word for He sanctifies us through His word and His word is His truth, according to Jesus (John 17:17).
If you really want to know Father God, read and study His word, dig deep into His foundation, being rooted and positioned and ready for the Master's use. Father God chose You. It is up too us to bring Him glory. God Bless, Sister Marcella

For to do other wise is rebellion and we do not want to displease You or to be rebellious.Father when this world closes in on me (us), persecution comes because I (we) have missed the mark let me remember Jesus example to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. I know the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits is to fall upon my knees and to seek You with all my heart for Your promise will come forth and I will find You.Father God I thank You today for the provisions You give Your people, called by Your name and purpose. I bless You O Adonai for all the blessings You have bestowed, saving our souls, healing our diseases and for Your loving and tender mercies (Psm 103:1-5).I praise You for Your faithfulness and that You are in charge of today, help us to stay in Your peace, not to be anxious or fretful, filled with unbelief but to fully trust and obey You for there is no other way. I ask You to open their understanding and show them You so they will know what they are missing for to know You is to love You. I pray that the Truth be revealed into each life and that these will seek You in Truth and Spirit, laying down ever thing that would keep them from knowing You and Your truth.Father call them into the secret place to sit at Your feet and to know You. Father I ask that as they go to Your word, for faith cometh from hearing from You that faith arises and that all unbelief dissolves.I believe that You Abba God change people and You Father God change things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus. I lift each and every spiritual and physical family member in their (our) households. I pray for Your peace, love and joy to fill their homes and that charity will begin in their (our homes). I ask You that we love enough to tell the truth even when it is met with opposition.Father God I ask that You give them (us) wisdom to get out of debt and all their (our) needs are met. I ask You that You bless them so they can be an outreach of blessings to others, not to hoarde because You have said to give and it will be giving. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is not any problem, circumstance, or situation greater than You our God. I yeild every battle, problem or circumstance into Your capable hands for the battle belongs to You to fight.Father God for every servat you have called to minster, I ask You for a fresh anointing to fill them and that if their allegiance has weakened that You will restrengthen us for Your grace is sufficient. I thank You for Your understanding to be revealed in them, just like the day of Pentecost. I ask You to raise them up in You, let them be the ones to speak Your truth and not recoil in fear. Father teach us how to truly worship in spirit and Truth. Father may we all run to You and ask You what would You have me to say, teach or preach before we open our mouths. Fill our mouths with Your truth, for only Your truth will make them free.Father God confirm Your word as in the days of holy men who You sent and confirmed Your word with true signs, miracles and healing. Father God You have said, that the Holy Spirit is the teacher of truth, may we bow our minds, hearts and spirits to Your truth and promote the Gospel of Christ Jesus in Truth so we will not be accursed.I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them, every ear that will hear them and every mouth that will confesses them willingly and every heart that will believe them for You and Your word are truth. This is my prayer, this morning and I ask You to hear my prayer and I trust and look expectantly for Father You will answer. In Jesus name I humbly an earnestly make my petition. Father as I close this prayer again I thank You that You are Lord of lords and King of kings and there is no other God. I praise You for the answers to prayer. AmenCopyright © 2010 Marcella |

Beloved are you hungry for true manna and living waters to flow? Does your heart like mine burn with a passion for Jesus, do you want to see Jesus receive the rewards of His suffering and for more people to be saved from the clutches of the enemy of God? Do you long to have a relationship with Father God like our Savior and the prophets? Do you question if it can be so today?
Have you ever heard of Count Nicholas Ludwig von Zinzendorf or the Moravian's movement? As his name decrees he was a man born into nobelity and his heart was intrrduced and beat to the Lord Jesus at an early age. He wanted to preach but his family opposed this ideal and had already planned his career and it was politics and the family's estate needed managing to. As a plotical leader Count Zinzendorf begin to allow the piest to escape Christian persecution to live on his land. He was a strong Lutheran but he accepted any person who needed to escape religious persecution.
The community he founded in 1722 was called Herrnhut, meaning "the House of the Lord." By 1725 a small city was dwelling upon the Count's land. He left the political arena and focused all his attention on the growing community. This group was AKA "the Morvarian's". The beliefs and the life-style of this small Christian community transformed the Church.
You may be asking what were some of their beliefs and how did they live, I can tell you I have never seen another community of believers like this one, they believed in prayer and the unity of the Body of Christ. In Modern terminology they were a community of Inter-denomination, people from many faiths living side by side in unity. They believed and lived together as brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. They were one of the only people I know who treated one another as a spiritual family in every concept of the meaning of family.
They prayed around the clock, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Have you ever though about such a concept? This begin with 24 men and 24 women willing to pray. Count Zinzendorf was a unique man himself, just think about it, he was born into nobility, he had no need financially, politically or socially. Yet this is not what made him so unique, it was His love for Christ Jesus and he wanted to live like Jesus.
He welcomed all who came to the community and began to disciple the community, giving them a vision for unity, prayer, revival and World Missions. The well renown John Wesley said, "I have finally found a people who live what they preach." The Moravian's were a radical people of obedience who understood the Cross and pursuing His presence. They were faithful to pray, just as Christ was faithful to pray and who makes intercession for His people even now. They believed if you did not pray and work you did not eat. Each member of the community prayed one hour a day. The flow of prayer from his own personal life of prayer.
History notes that Zinzendorf was found praying by one of Charles XII soldiers at the age of 6. It is noted that he often engaged himself in the privacy of his room in prayer. In college he started 7 prayer societies. It was this man's example that prayer turned into prayer meetings and all night prayer. I was told about the Moravians when I was asked to teach prayer at Church, because I said we must keep the incense on the altar and the fire burning.
This burned in me from reading about prayer and how the Old Covenant was symbolic to how we have free access now to the Holy of Holies ( see Lev. 6 makes 3 ref to fire kept burning on the altar and Rev 5:8 talks about the incense of prayer). I wanted to know more about this man who said and lived by the principles burning in my heart. It is in this kind of daily living we will find the Father's presence, the anointing to pray, witness, evangelize, healing etc. Our Savior Christ Jesus lived this example and we are to come out of the world and follow Him. It is in relationship with Him and through prayer to Him that we will become world changers. It is through persistent prayer we will find the passion and compassion of Christ Jesus burning inside of us. Then we will have the zeal of Christ Jesus for the lost.
Our Father said:
Isaiah 56:7 (KJV) Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isaiah 56:7 (NLT) I will bring them also to my holy mountain of Jerusalem and will fill them with joy in my house of prayer. I will accept their burnt offerings and sacrifices, because my Temple will be called a house of prayer for all nations.
Matthew 21:13 (KJV) And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Matthew 21:13 (NLT) He said, "The Scriptures declare, 'My Temple will be called a place of prayer,' but you have turned it into a den of thieves!"
Mark 11:17 (KJV) And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Mark 11:17 (NLT) He taught them, "The Scriptures declare, 'My Temple will be called a place of prayer for all nations,' but you have turned it into a den of thieves."
Luke 19:46 (KJV) Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Luke 19:46 (NLT) He told them, "The Scriptures declare, 'My Temple will be a place of prayer,' but you have turned it into a den of thieves."
This is a road less traveled, not many have taking the unpopular path of prayer. Prayer does not bring a spotlight to this type of ministry. It is here that it is between us and Father God. The work is hard, the people asking for prayer can be frustrated and demand much from an intercessor. This call demands that we love unselfishly and place others above our own feelings, wants and needs much of the time. It takes a person sold out to Christ Jesus who seeks Him in All things, you live what you preach, so to speak.
This road is not gender, age or color bias, Jesus accepts all who will come. Can you imagine if Christ Jesus folded His hands and said "No, Father I did my prat, I am not doing any more? Can you imagine the shape we would be in without His intercession in the heavenlies? Will you come to the fountain and let living waters flow into you, through you and out of you to others. We know not the hour of His coming, but we know He is comming. Please join us in God's Living Word Prayer Group and throughout the prayer groups you are already in, lets pray for these needs but let us also seek the heart of God so we can pray His purpose and will. I am sure like me you have love ones who are lost or astray, we must pray like never before. Let us become the prayiing priest we are called to be. We can pray silently, write a prayer out or speak our prayer out loud, it is between us and father. Prayer is often referred to the silent call, can you hear His call? Have a blessed evening in Jesus.
